BOOK DRIVE FOR KIDS is dedicated to working with partners who wants to make a difference in the lives of children living in Texas. Our desire is to place in the hands of every child age appropriate reading material that will help over come the problem of illiteracy.

Sponsorship Objectives

• Maximum on-site exposure through sponsorship of one of BOOK DRIVE FOR KIDS book collection or distribution events.
• Face-to-Face supporter interaction with hundreds to even thousands of event goers.

What happens after you sponsor?

Smiles, smiles and more smiles! It will warm your heart to see the faces of these kids. In May of 2009, a 1st grade boy in Lancaster was given a book at one of our “parties.” He had only walked two steps away from the table when he quickly turned around and asked “can I keep this book and take it home?” He was expecting to hear “no this book stays at school.” But our reply was, “yes you can that is your book to take home and read.” Upon hearing these words he spun around holding the book tight to his chest and walked away with a look of utter satisfaction.

One of our main slogans is “It all started with a book.” I believe this young man’s life (and thousands like him) can be jumped started by giving him the right book to read.
