Book Drive For Kids…Featured Charity!
Boomerang Comic in Lewisville is celebrating the comic art form on Saturday May 17, on Free Comic Book Day and has name Book Drive For Kids as their charity of the day. Everyone can come to the store and receive 3 free comic books and are encourage to donate some comics to Book Drive For Kids. All of the material donated will be distributed free of charge to disadvantaged children in the metroplex. Book Drive For Kids is passionate about literacy and wants to make sure every child in America has age-appropriate books for their very own. There will be a Book Drive For Kids banner and collection bin setup to receive donations. A BIG THANK-YOU goes to Mr. Neal Rhone, owner of Boomerang Comics, for inviting Book Drive For Kids to the event and naming us as the charity of the day, thanks Neal!
