Did you have a favorite book as a child? Maybe it was Green Eggs and Ham or See Spot Run. Do you remember how you read it over and over again? How you loved that book? You know, a lot of kids these days don’t have a favorite book. Why? A lot of kids don’t have any books. According to government reports, low income neighborhoods in the US only have an average of one age-appropriate book for every three hundred children. That means most low-income kids don’t have a favorite book because they don’t have any books at all. Book Drive For Kids wants to change this – and you can help. Book Drive For Kids is more than just a literacy project, it’s fun too!
